We at Eden Academy believe that all parents should have the opportunity to homeschool their children regardless of religion/beliefs, financial standing, race, sex, or handicap. It is our mission to help provide a church school, to help give you those opportunities. We have families enrolled in Eden Academy of Tuscaloosa through out the state of Alabama. All of the staff at Eden Academy are volunteers and are not paid a salary. Registration fees are used to cover expenses of correspondence, ink, paper, stamps, etc.

Requirements

Transcripts, homeschool organizational advice, curriculum consultation, special needs students are welcome, social interaction with other students, field trips offered, but not required, monthly newsletter (FREE online, $10.00per year if mailed)Newsletter found on our JOURNAL link. optional class group projects, borrowers library, optional holiday parties, yearbooks/scrapbooks (pending intrest), class rings, graduation ceremonies (fees extra), summer used curriculum book sales, Electronic updates on calendar/events, we supply attendance, report card, schedule, curriculum list forms.

NO Statement of Faith is required.
NO HSLDA required, but recommended.
Parents can use any curriculum they prefer.
Enrollment Is available statewide in Alabama. Enrollment package must be completed and turned in before we can enroll your child.
We recomend standardized testing (SAT) but it is not required.
NO TUITION FEES, there is a registration fee of $50.00 annually, per family. Cash or Money orders accepted due upon enrollment.Postal money orders should be written to

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS CHURCH OR ANY CHURCH TO ENROLL IN EDEN ACADEMY of TUSCALOOSA.

Lamplighters Church is open to EVERYONE of all faiths and beliefs. That's right, you do not have to believe in God, to be welcome. We have members of all beliefs. All we ask is that you respect others views while visiting us. We welcome friendly discussion of all views.

We welcome you into our church of all faiths, created to share the Essence of God in all God's glorious aspects.May your journey through life be one of long sharing and enlightenment of self. In this church we do not ask for tithing of our members as we feel the true tithe you make is through service in faith.
